About: Trader Joe's brands chocolate made by multiple manufacturers, and who knows who makes this chocolate. It's not Joe. This bar doesn't even say where it's made, unlike some of their other bars that try to get credit for Swiss or Belgian sourcing. Overall, TJs has some pretty good go-to daily chocolate. Can't complain.

Flavor: There are a lot of flavors here, and the toffee dominates ruthlessly. The chocolate is full flavored, but you aren't going to spaz out on "notes of coffee and raspberry." Mostly, you'll say "hmm.. toffee with some sort of nuts in there." But.. that's what you'd expect from this bar. Another thing the toffee does is ad sweetness, so don't go whining that it's too sweet. You bought it knowing that. Finally, there is a bit of a bitter finish here - maybe the chocolate wasn't summa cum laude at the chocolate academy, but not all of us can and some of us don't.

Texture: The toffee gives the chocolate a slightly crunchy, gritty feel, but the surrounding chocolate is very smooth.

My rating: It's really a completely good and fine flavor combination with a solid 6. Worth eating again. Maybe even a seven, but for a brandless brand, I'm struggling with that.
